Vatican Reprimands a Group of U.S. Nuns and Plans Changes

When people ask me why I so vocally oppose the Catholic church and organized religion I always find myself citing their various human rights abuses and refusal to move ahead in regards to science etc. But never could I have thought the Vatican would be so brash as to reprimand a group of nuns attempting to spread the "word" through love and understanding. But that's what the church is doing according to this New York Times Article. Perhaps the church is once again peddling for the social conservatives that once ringed it's halls during the third-reich of Germany. Because not only is the church openly targeting the Lesbian and Gay community, but also women: regardless of their faith and affiliation to the church.
